Presso il Forte Tenaglie - "Casa del Telegrafo".

riattiveremo le trasmissioni in telegrafia e fonia.

Verrà mandata una QSL dedicata allevento per tutti i contatti

Il "nostro Forte" ha diverse referenze :

sarà valida per i contatti con le stazioni presenti in loco che opereranno in QRP (max 5w).

Activities will be carried out by portable radio with our Calls/P

Special QSL for the activity will be done.

Near Forte Tenaglie there is a "Telegraph House".
It is not a traditional telegraphic station, but an optical telegraph called "Chappe " or "napoleonic". The device was called " tachygraphe ", in other words "speedy writer"; subsequently it was called " télégraphe" whose litteral translation is " remote writer ". The system, was very simple; it was formed by high positions (towers, bell towers, etc.) at distance of few kilometers one from the other in order to allow telegraph operators, using a spyglass, to see and decode the message.
On the towers was a ten meters high pole with big wooden arms.
When rotating, the wooden arms could describe a whole circumference with 45 degrees moving step by step.
