Espansione Yaesu FT-530

Non ricordo come si fa l'espansione TX-RX sul Yaesu FT-530, in rete ho trovato solo modifiche hardware, ma mi sembra di ricordare che si poteva fare attraverso una sequenza di tasti come per l'FT-212 anche in questo caso in rete c'è solo la modifica hardware

ho anch'io un FT 530 Con SN3M240689 e molto tempo fa trovai e scaricai da Internet le istruzioni che ti allego e che sono in Inglese lingua che spero tu conosca......io, fortunatamente, non ho problemi !! Hi !! Hi !!.

Purtroppo non ricordo se le ho implementate anche sul mio RTx e non posso verificarlo poiché non l'ho con me ma è da mio figlio e dobbiamo anche ricostruirne il Pacco batterie poiché esaurite dopo quasi 10 anni d'inattività oltre a sostituire la pila a pastiglia CR 1220 che provvede a mantenere in memoria tutti i dati operativi.

Per la regoletta del "Tentar non nuoce" prova a seguire scrupolosamente queste istruzioni che per la semplicità dell'intervento, peraltro ripristinabile comunque, non dovrebbero creare difficoltà o danneggiare l'apparato.

Here is the summary of a mod that I've put together from talking to people
on the phone, radio, and email for the Yaesu FT-530.  It is a very simple
mod and it allows extended rx & tx.
This mod only applies to the newer models of the 530.  I don't know what
serial number implies the newer model, but my 530's serial number begins
with 4J381xxx and was purchased in June 1995.

1. take off the battery pack from the bottom of the radio.
2. unscrew the four screws on the bottom to release the bottom plate.
3. after you open the plate, you'll see a green wire on the right side
   of the radio (if you hold it with the front panel on top).
4. simply cut this green wire and use some electrical tape to prevent it
   from touching other parts of the radio.
5. replace the bottom plate and screw it back in.
6. attach the battery
7. hold both the up & down Mhz arrow buttons and press the power button at
   the same time.  this will enable to the mod.  It is like a toggle, if you
   do it again, it will disable to the mod. 
8. Now you should have rx 110-180, 300-500, 800-950, and tx 130-180, 400-480.

Note: this mod will reset your radio and all memories will be erased.

Here is a second mod you can do to get more rx.
1. On the 70cm band, program your radio's lower (L) and upper (U) memory
   limits to 300 and 950. 
2. Turn to the Lower memory channel. 
3. Press MR once and you should see a four tiny little arrows right below
   the channel number. 
4. Once you see these little arrows, you can enter any frequency
   from 300-950 Mhz directly on the keypad.
You can also store these new rx frequencies in memory if you like. 

Note: Although you can enter 800-950 Mhz into the radio, I have not heard
anything in this range.  It is rumored that the components to receive on
this band is no longer made in the FT530.

to work on your radio.  And remember not to transmit out of band!!!

Grazie Massimo per la tua cortese e rapida risposta, purtroppo e per varie ragioni mi è difficoltoso smontare l'apparato, quindi mi chiedevo se era fattibile effettuarla anche solo attraverso una combinazione di tasti come appunto nel citato Ft-212

No, devi aprirlo e tagliare un cavo verde e isolarlo, nella scheda come da istruzioni.

Vado a memoria perché al mio l ho fatta diversi anni addietro.
Spegni la Radio schiaccia in contemporanea freccietta su freccietta giù accendi la Radio
A questo punto dovrebbe risultate espansa sia in vhf che in uhf

Al punto 7 delle istruzioni di fatti dice questo delle freccette, dopo il cut del cavo verde, magari il tuo era già con cavo tagliato ?
O lo avevi preso nuovo nuovo ?

Si provato anche togliendo la batteria per alcune ore, non so quella di backup ma credo che in quel caso si resetti ma non ho provato

Dopo diversi anni ho resettato il mio Yaesu FT530, perdendo la funzione di espansione di banda; sia prima che dopo il reset la radio va bene, in tutto.
Avevo degli appunti per attivare l'espansione in ricezione/trasmissione (anche per ricevere le frequenze 800-900 MHz), ma niente da fare.
La procedura per l'espansione di bande che avevo segnato negli appunti è la stessa indicata in questo post.....accendere l'RTX tenendo premuti i tasti UP e DOWN (MHz), ma niente da fare.........a qualcuno è già successo oppure manca qualche altro passaggio?
